Happy Scourday™ Ping Pongers and Ghetto Funkers, and any other ‘ers that may be tuned in..Spinforth here, back from my ‘slightly’ overindulged Bestival antics, welcoming you to Spinforth’s Weekly Sound Cloud Scour #32.
So..my heads been feeling a bit of a major muddle this week. Yeah..I suppose it could STILL have ‘something’ to do with my 80+ hours of Bestival spangledness (bloody hell that was so much fun..Jungle Brothers, The Cure, Beardyman, ASkillz (twice), Knees Up, and everything I caught at Continental Drift’s Club Da Da..along with wicked n lush times with an awesome Fal Town Bestival crew..are all included in my highlights), orrr..maybe I just overdid it by swiftly following that up with weekend full of party last weekend? Hong Kong Ping Pong Vs Durty Disco last Friday fully went off, as did my Saturday night on the steel wheels at Eight Bar, oh yeah..aaand my impromptu three hour set until 06:30am at a rad house party after. Huge shout out of thanks to all involved..two very BIG serotonin sapping weekends!
Anyway because of my current state of muddledupness I’m keeping blog blurb to a minimum this week. Please excuse this blatant cop out..but I have completely run out of time too, so just gonna keep my fingers crossed that the following mixed bag of class A Scoured fruits can do all my talking. Ghetto Funk HQ challenged me to turn the funk right up for this Scour, so here’s my bumper Scour #32..purposely heavily laden with an additional dollop of full fat funk for your gorgeous ears..hopefully doing just that.
Pleeeease, if you dig n download any of these free jams, take a minute out out to show and share your appreciation, by leaving the Cloud owners some comment love. It’ll give them that warm fuzzy cuddly feeling inside when they read ’em!
Until next Scour, funk right on, and..
If you have a tune that you’d like considered for support in forthcoming Scours, please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org

So..quick re-cap for those of you who don’t read the main Scour blurb (no stress..it’s mostly always nonsense, and I probably wouldn’t!)..GF HQ have been asking both GF crew and GF followers to be on the look out for a little mo’ funk this week. Challenge welcomed and duly accepted! Scoured results to follow. Let’s kick ’em off with this heavy, heavy, hitting hip hop funk blend from Canada’s Steely Chan. 90bpm
The Beatnuts & Lefties Soul Connection – Props Over Bam Bam (Steely Chan’s Blender Mash) by Steely Chan

Yo, Play That Funky Music – 4Mat & Doctor Recommended (Re-up DL in description) by 4Mat
Strictly speaking the genre of the original version of this next tune is classified as Art rock. To my ears though it’s chock full of reggae vibes (obviously) aaaand funk! This version by DogzNadz especially so. If you’re feeling this one then pretty good chance you’ll be feeling The Dancefloor Outlaws version too..released for digi download today, and available to to purchase exclusively from Juno Download right >>HERE<<..also available on wax >>HERE<< 107bpm
DogzNadz: Dreadlock Holiday – Funky Partybreaks *Free Download* by DogzNadz

Lewd Behavior – Shotgun Funk (Original Mix) by Lewd Behavior
Seems wrong to be delivering a Scour that neglects the Ghetto Funk sound completely..so here’s a couple of mid tempo bass heavy wobbly ones for you. Nice re-work of a Biggie classic here from CockneyNutjob. Turn it uuuuuuup! 110bpm
Sicker Than Your Average – Cockney Nutjob (Ghetto Funk Mix) by CockneyNutjob
Proper good re-edit next, from Zane:Tee. Bit of a grower this one I reckon. If you’re not sure of it 1st time round..check it, re check it, and check it again. Got it now? See a grower..we all loving those! Alternative download link available in track description. 120bpm

Kenny Beeper – Yeah That’s It! *(Free DL!) by Kenny Beeper
And last up, pre-curveball, please give a very warm welcome back to the Scour, the skills and sounds of WBBL. This one has it all..electro, disco, ghetto, dnbo, and as always, an undoubtedly seriously funky wbble o! Look out..one of these is gonna make you famous sooner or later bro! 😉 174bpm
Justice Vs. Simian – We Are Your Friends (WBBL Remix) by WBBL
Aaaaand finally, this weeks curveball! Say what? Trouble? In my mind? Errmm..well..yeah, yeah I do a bit! Pretty sure I’m not alone either. Mine can be an absolute mother funker sometimes…and this week I’ve been feeling this non musical blue flavoured type of funk pretty bad. Hopefully nothing a good (in no particular order)..spangling, brandy and coke, banging gig, and maybe a cuddle or two here and there shouldn’t fix. Cue a classic, full fat funk flavoured re-rub, by Scratchandsniff! 116bpm
Sir Joe Quarterman – I Got So Much Trouble On My Mind (scratchandsniff re-rub) by scratchandsniff
